1. Prayer and Spiritual Formation
We commit ourselves to daily prayer and ongoing conversion as followers of Christ:
Attending Mass and adoration whenever possible
Praying the Liturgy of the Hours and the Franciscan Crown Rosary
Studying Scripture, the life of St. Francis, and the teachings of the Church
Offering our intentions for the needs of the world, the Church, and those we serve
Our fraternity gathers monthly for communal prayer, reflection, and fraternity life, drawing strength from each other as we journey toward holiness.
2. Fraternity and Community Life
Being a Secular Franciscan means living in fraternity—a spiritual family united by love, simplicity, and mutual support.
We meet monthly to pray, learn, and grow together
We celebrate milestones and support one another in times of joy and trial
We strive to make our fraternity a sign of Christian community for others
3. Service to the Church and the World
In the spirit of St. Francis, we serve wherever there is need, poverty, or brokenness:
Parish Support: Assisting with parish ministries, liturgical roles, and outreach programs
Charitable Works: Volunteering with local food pantries, shelters, and community services
Care for Creation: Promoting ecological awareness and participating in environmental stewardship efforts
Franciscan Witness: Bringing peace, joy, and compassion to those around us through our daily lives
Our service is both spiritual and practical, reflecting Francis’ call to “rebuild My Church” in every age.
4. Formation and Evangelization
We invite others to experience the joy of living the Gospel as Secular Franciscans:
Welcoming inquirers and candidates into our formation program
Sharing the Franciscan spirit through parish and community events
Offering resources and encouragement to those seeking a deeper walk with Christ
Our Mission in Action
The St. Paschal Fraternity exists to spread peace and goodness, to care for the least of our brothers and sisters, and to live the Gospel without compromise, as St. Francis did.
If you feel drawn to a life of prayer, fraternity, and humble service, we welcome you to walk with us.
“Preach the Gospel at all times, and when necessary, use words.” – St. Francis of Assisi

Participating Franciscan Partners in shared values and community service INDEPENDENT of the Toledo (OFS)
As members of the Order Franciscan Secular (OFS) at St. Paschal Fraternity, we are lay men and women called to live the Gospel in the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi. Our mission is simple yet profound: to bring the light of Christ into the world through prayer, service, fraternity, and care for creation.
We do this in our daily lives, in our families, in our workplaces, and in our local communities.
